The Ball Roll Ramp indicates the level of resistance the surface gives to a ball rolling across it.
The FIFA Quality Performance Standard requires a ball roll of between 8-10m while FIFA Quality Pro needs the ball roll to not exceed 8m. If the ball exceeds these figures it is a good indication that additional decompaction and brushing of the surface may be required.
